Artist James Fenwick Lansdowne was a 20th-century Canadian wildlife painter. Lansdowne’s talent was nurtured by his mother, who was a trained watercolor artist. He exhibited his first show at the tender age of 19 and quickly made a name for himself internationally after that, exhibiting in venues such as the
Natural History Museum in Beijing and the Smithsonian in the U.S.
