One of a kind original painting from Eugene Brodsky.  Brodsky’s work has been collected by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the National Gallery of Art in Washington.  He has had group shows at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Born in New York City in 1946, Eugene Brodsky lives and maintains studios in Soho and East Hampton, NY.

Since 1975, Brodsky has been awarded numerous grants and fellowships, including Guggenheim Fellowships in 1979 and 1987, National Endowment For the Arts Grants in 1976 and 1983, and a Louis Comfort Tiffany Fellowship in 1977. One-person exhibitions of his work have been held in New York City galleries, throughout the country, and in Germany.

The art of Eugene Brodsky may be described as a dialogue between painting, drawing, and image transfer. He uniquely incorporates concepts intrinsic to printmaking into many aspects of his pieces. Stating that direct exposure to the art of Eva Hesse, Jasper Johns, and Robert Ray.
