Gail began painting in Vancouver in 1986, taking courses with the Federation of Canadian Artists. In the years since moving back to Vernon in 1988, she has continued to take courses and has been very involved with the Vernon Public Art Gallery, the Caetani Cultural Centre and the Vernon Community Arts Centre.This piece started as an exploration without specific intentions, and incidentally became a birds-eye view of Montreal – the city where Gail grew up.
